Also, the drawers & baskets aren't being used effectively - I know there is a decent amount in those that can be tossed to make space for the things I actually use on a regular basis. As I was hunting around for a tin of face powder this evening and was attacked by a vicious dust bunny hiding behind the makeup case, I knew I'd picked a good place to start. :) I’m 99% sure I can get to a “place for everything and everything in it’s place” with some room to spare – but it sure doesn’t look that way from the pics, does it? :)

It seems from your comments that you might not be able to. If you haven't found anything you like, yet, to replace it, then what about putting up a small drawer unit beside it?
